Seek Him

Deuteronomy 33:12 "Let the beloved of the LORD rest secure in Him, for He shields him all day long, and the one the LORD loves rests between His shoulders."

Deuteronomy 4:29 "But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul."

Our God is Awesome, Powerful, and Victorious

As I set down to write this post, I realized that I write a LOT about spiritual things. It made me pause and think, maybe I should write about something lighter. But after praying about it, I can't not write this. It has been on my heart for days. I want to brag on God today. I want to write a little bit about who He is, what He has done,and what He is going to do. This post may be a little long, here it goes....

This week has been a roller coaster of emotions and deep burdens. There has been so much to pray for and to pray about. I have spent a lot of time laying down my cares, my concerns, my desperate cries, my tears, and my prayers at my Lord's feet, only to pick them up again later to worry a little bit more about it all. Then back I go, to lay them down once again when it becomes too much. This was how my week was going, then came Wednesday....what an awesome and powerful day! Our GOD is AWESOME and HE is ALL POWERFUL. It was that night, through many tears and with knees to the earth, the Throne room of Heaven was filled with a Holy Roar as prayers from His Redeemed cried out in one voice for redemption, mercy, restoration, and unity; laying down our burdens at His feet! There is nothing more peaceful than laying it all down and not going back. Leaving it all there, fully trusting that God can and WILL handle it.
As I wept and prayed, I knew that though I was physically alone, I wasn't. Even though the only voice I heard audibly was my own, I couldn't have heard the inaudible any clearer. A great echo was sent out that night and I can't wait to see all of the life-changing miracles that will occur from it.

Matthew 18:19-20 “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

We must remember, He never said it wouldn't come without a fight. And sometimes that battle takes a toll, and it's hard, scary, and exhausting!

Ephesians 6:12-13 "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

But even in through the battle, TRUST HIM and BELIEVE that our God is MIGHTY TO SAVE!!! The battle is already won! And through Him we are victorious!

Psalm 144:1-2 "Praise be to the LORD my Rock,who trains my hands for war,my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me."
Psalm 145:13-14 "The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.The LORD upholds all those who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down."

LORD Most High, Sovereign King, we are believing and trusting in Your promises!!

ECHO

Psalm 145
1 I will exalt you, my God the King;
I will praise your name for ever and ever.
2 Every day I will praise you
and extol your name for ever and ever.
3 Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
his greatness no one can fathom.
4 One generation will commend your works to another;
they will tell of your mighty acts.
5 They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty,
and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
6 They will tell of the power of your awesome works,
and I will proclaim your great deeds.
7 They will celebrate your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.
8 The LORD is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and rich in love.
9 The LORD is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made.
10 All you have made will praise you, O LORD;
your saints will extol you.
11 They will tell of the glory of your kingdom
and speak of your might,
12 so that all men may know of your mighty acts
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
and your dominion endures through all generations.
The LORD is faithful to all his promises
and loving toward all he has made.
14 The LORD upholds all those who fall
and lifts up all who are bowed down.
15 The eyes of all look to you,
and you give them their food at the proper time.
16 You open your hand
and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways
and loving toward all he has made.
18 The LORD is near to all who call on him,
to all who call on him in truth.
19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear him;
he hears their cry and saves them.
20 The LORD watches over all who love him,
but all the wicked he will destroy.
21 My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD.
Let every creature praise his holy name
for ever and ever.

Our God is all those things and more! We must, as verse 4 says, commend Him to the next generation and tell of his mighty acts. We have to echo His love, life, and truth to the world. If we really believe all those truths about our God, why do we not get more excited about telling others about Him? GET EXCITED, He is AWESOME and most worthy of praise, and He loves YOU!!
